Rose Mary Allen
Dr. Rose Mary Allen studied sociology cultural anthropology at the Catholic University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She obtained her PhD at Utrecht University.
From 1998 until now Rose Mary Allen is working as a consultant and as a visiting lecturer at the University of Curacao(former University of the Netherlands Antilles) and other institutes of higher learning on Curaçao. Her present book includes a historical analysis of intra-Caribbean migration movements from Curacao. At the moment she is also a research fellow of the project of Citizenship, national canons and the issue of cultural diversity: The Netherlands in international perspective,Amsterdam School for Social science Research (ASSR),University of Amsterdam, Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences.
