Nifa Ansano
Nifa Ansano is a poet, cultural advocate, and literary organizer with a background in social and cultural studies. From an early age, she understood the power of words to uplift and heal a conviction that continues to shape her writing. Her poetic voice, nurtured through platforms like Poetic Colours and deepened by her work in libraries, has become a bridge between language, identity, and community. Through her roles at institutions such as the National Archaeological Anthropological Memory Management (NAAM) and Gallery Landhuis Bloemhof, she has cultivated a rich understanding of the development of literature and language, particularly in Papiamentu.As the founding director of Creative Inspirations, Nifa is committed to building a literary and cultural infrastructure for writers in Curaçao and the wider Caribbean. She does this by facilitating writing workshops, literary festivals, and cross-cultural exchanges.
